Host a web app in the EU
Eurobase runs your app on European infrastructure and is operated by a business registered in Warsaw. This guide shows what runs where, and how to keep the rest of your stack in Europe too.
What runs where
| Part | Where |
|---|---|
| Your app, functions and containers | Eurobase servers on Scaleway infrastructure in the EU |
| Files in buckets | Eurobase storage on Scaleway infrastructure in the EU |
| Logs and usage | Eurobase, on Scaleway infrastructure in the EU |
| Source code connection | GitHub, Inc., when you connect a repository |
| Billing | Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and Stripe group services, on paid plans |
Your database
Eurobase doesn't offer a managed database yet. Choose a provider and a region in the EU, and connect to it from your app. A Worker reaches databases over HTTPS only; a container can also use their native drivers.
A step-by-step setup with Supabase is on Eurobase + Supabase.
A short checklist
- Keep secrets in the project's Secrets, never in your repository.
- Pick EU regions for every other service your app calls: email, analytics, error tracking.
- Read the data processing agreement and the subprocessors list.
- Connect your own domain from Domains.
Hosting is one part of GDPR
Where your servers run is one part of data protection. What you collect, why, and how long you keep it are decisions in your own app. Eurobase handles the hosting side under its data processing agreement.
